Tea Kew Tea is part of the coaching team at New Cross Historical Fencing in London, and before that was the curriculum designer and Lead Instructor for Cambridge HEMA. Tea primarily studies Ringeck’s longsword, bringing together close study of the text, test-cutting, sparring and historical to arrive at effective interpretations. A second area of focus is pedagogy in HEMA, blending modern coaching methods and traditional curricula to teach deep understanding of a source. Tea has taught workshops at events across the world, including HEMAC Dijon, Longpoint, Festival of the Sword and Masters of Longsword.
